At Higher Logic, we are committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy for our customers. To achieve this, we will be transitioning our AWS document retrieval to Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.2 and above to adhere to industry best practices and to align with the latest security standards.

TLS 1.2 is a cryptographic protocol that provides a secure connection between your device and our systems, thereby enhancing the confidentiality and integrity of your data during transmission. This update is essential to safeguarding your personal information and maintaining a secure online experience.
Key Points:
1. Higher Logic Document/Image downloads from AWS: Starting June 15th, 2023, to continue accessing downloads of images and documents from the HL platforms seamlessly, please ensure that your systems, applications, and devices are compatible with TLS 1.2 and above.
2. AWS Upgrade to TLS 1.2: Amazon Web Services will be updating the TLS configuration for all AWS API endpoints to a minimum of version TLS 1.2 on June 28th,2023. (https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/security/tls-1-2-required-for-aws-endpoints)
3. Improved Security: TLS 1.2 offers advanced security features, including stronger encryption algorithms and enhanced protection against potential vulnerabilities present in earlier versions.
4. Action Required: If you are using outdated software, such as older web browsers or operating systems, it may not be compatible with TLS 1.2. To avoid any interruption of content downloads, we strongly recommend updating your software/browser to the latest version that supports TLS 1.2 and above.
5. Compatibility Check: You can verify if your browser supports TLS 1.2 by visiting the following website: https://clienttest.ssllabs.com:8443/ssltest/viewMyClient.html
6. Additional Assistance: If you require any further assistance or have questions regarding this transition, please view our support article (https://support.higherlogic.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033047391-Supported-Browsers-Website-Cookies#TLS-Upgrade) or reach out to our dedicated support team at support@higherlogic.com.

The majority of our end users are already at or above TLS 1.2 and will see no impact from this change. Currently, less than 0.01% of our end users are using versions of TLS below 1.2. We appreciate your support as we continue to prioritize the security of your information.
